HKERA basically offers four types of membership: Professional, School and Student Memberships.

Professional Membership
Professional Membership is open to educators with at least a first degree or equivalent qualification who are actively engaged in educational research.
School Membership
In the category of School Membership, school will be treated as a unit. That is, schools which are registered in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region under the Education Ordinance, such as kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools, can apply for such membership. Under this category of membership, the principal and two of his/her designated delegates can become members of the association.
Student Membership
Student Membership is open to all full-time students who are studying in universities or tertiary institutions.
(All categories are entitled to participate in the association's forums and bi-annual conference and receive free issue of the newsletter and journal. The right to elect or be elected as executive members is limited to professional members only. )

You may choose to register online by clicking the online registration on the left menu, or complete the application form for Professional/Student Membership or School Membership and send it together with the subscription fee to Dr. Sandy Li.
